1. What Bid Scope Alerts is
Bid Scope Alerts ("we", "us") sends subscribers email alerts about public construction bids in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming. Each alert lists open jobs that match the trades and states you pick and, where the agency publishes a readable bid schedule, the line items and quantities that match your trade or your own item words. By starting a trial or subscription you agree to these terms.
2. Information is a summary. The official posting controls.
- Everything in an alert is summarized from public postings by government agencies and is provided for convenience only.
- Quantities, dates and descriptions can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, for example when a document can't be read cleanly or an addendum changes the bid schedule after we read it.
- We don't promise that every public bid, or every line item, will be in your alerts.
- Always bid off the agency's own documents and addenda. You're responsible for confirming every detail before you bid.
- We're not affiliated with any agency or bid platform, and alerts are not bid documents.
3. Free trial, billing and cancellation
- New subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial. A card is required to start, and you won't be charged during the trial.
- Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your plan renews monthly at the price shown when you signed up (currently $149 a month for Pro and $79 a month for Basic) until you cancel.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- You can cancel anytime from the Billing link on your Manage my alerts page, or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for; we don't give partial refunds for unused time.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' email notice. The new price applies from your next billing date after that notice.
4. Your account
- Give us an email address you control and keep your trades and states up to date from the Manage my alerts link.
- Your Manage my alerts link works like a key. Don't share it outside your company.
- One subscription covers one company. You may forward alerts within your own company.
5. What you can't do
- Resell, republish or redistribute alerts, or use them to build a competing service.
- Try to access other subscribers' settings, or interfere with the service.
6. Our responsibility is limited
The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost bids, lost profits, or decisions you make based on an alert, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
7. Changes to the service or these terms
We may update the service and these terms. If we make a material change to these terms, we'll email subscribers before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
8. Ending service
We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms. If we stop offering the service, we'll give you notice and stop billing you.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
